As a member of the media art team AnotherSunday, I was responsible for the hardware design, production, and programming of this work.
In this piece, magnets were used to create the movement of metal beads on the steel plate.
Therefore, from the mechanical design stage, all metal materials were excluded, and a special form was devised and produced so that it could be connected and fixed only with woodworking materials.
Developing a structure inspired by the shape of Cheetos' toy "Tazos", it was designed to interlock when combining woodworking materials, allowing them to be fixed without additional work.

"Routine, Route-in" creates a stage by arranging kinetic devices that repeat specific movements. These devices are designed to rotate steel beads at a constant speed inside concave bowl-shaped objects, forming a cluster (orchestration) while varying heights and orbits. As the rotational motion repeats and the white noise generated from the devices overlaps, creating a certain audiovisual "routine", the viewer faces a boundary zone that suddenly crosses from everyday consciousness to the unconscious. Step into the selfless experience where only the sensation of "this very moment" is amplified. Soon, the routine will transform into a "route-in" to a meditative experience.
